In today's challenging world, it's important to make sure you're aware of the latest nutrition news for your own sake as well as your family. The Nutrition Sake Series class are taught by Diane Whitten, MS Food and Nutrition Educator of Cornell Cooperative Extension Saratoga County.

Learn why the Mediterranean diet and lifestyle lead to reduced risk of heart disease and how to make realistic changes to your food and activity patterns for better health.



From Mindless to Mindful Eating-Most of us often eat mindlessly, not aware of what or how much we're eating. Surprisingly, people find they enjoy food more and actually eat better when they pay more attention to the experience of eating.  Learn how to move from mindless to mindful eating.



Fermentation for Fun & Health-Fermented foods is a trend in promoting gut health. This presentation will include information on the health benefits of foods like yogurt, kim, chi and other fermented foods, as well as a demonstration on how to make your own sauerkraut.
