Food Fun for Preschoolers- NEW

March: Dr. Seuss was a writer, poet, and cartoonist who produced 46 books for children. In early March his birthday is celebrated as Dr. Seuss Day. Children will have the opportunity to join in a Dr. Seuss Birthday Celebration. Get ready to make your own Dr. Seuss hat; cast a line in the "Red Fish, Blue Fish" fish pond; and hear the "Sam I Am" friend complain about the dish of green eggs and ham. There will be an opportunity to hear several of Dr. Seuss' favorite stories. Class also includes a craft, snack and music. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

May: Mother's Day Tea! Children and their Dads (or grandfathers) can join together to celebrate "Mother's Day". Participants will have fun preparing a Mother's Day Tea for their Mom.
Mother's will join the festivities at 2:30pm to enjoy some light refreshments prepared by the child ren. Each child will also make a gift for Mom. The class will also include story-time, music and movement activities.
